A woman has been arrested in Kerala’s Kollam for allegedly murdering her teenage son after some provocation. According to the police, Jayamol, the accused, killed her son Jeethu Job by first pushing him down in the kitchen and then strangulating him with a shawl. After three days of search, the half-burnt body of the victim was found in nearby banana plantation, news agency ANI reported on Friday. The last rites of the boy were conducted on Thursday evening at their local church, after the autopsy was conducted. Later when Jayamol was brought to the house as part of the investigation, she was booed by the local residents, the IANS report said.
